Interplay has confirmed that its upcoming MMO, supposedly based around the Fallout franchise will hit beta sometime in 2012. However, Bethesda are currently in a court battle to the death over the new IP.
Interplay also announced that it has signed new agreements over the title with development studio Masthead Studios.
If Interplay win the court case or battle between men in suits, unfortunately not Fallout suits, then they'll be able to release the MMO, if they don't and providing Bethesda isn't making a Fallout MMO of their own, which as earlier released was that it's an upcoming Elder Scrolls MMO, then they won't. So that shoots that down.
If only Interplay still had Earthworm Jim on their side..
