During Microsoft's keynote at the annual CES the company confirmed the upcoming release of 'The Game Room' which will let you relive those glory days of playing in the arcades.
The Game Room will allow you to have your own personal space where you can purchase and play retro games from a plethora of publishers and even invite your friends over to play as well. Each title will cost anywhere from 240-400 Microsoft points or for those true retro types, played once for 40 Microsoft points. The service will be available on both the Xbox 360 and Games for Windows Live.
At launch the service will consist of 30 titles to choose from and a further 1000 titles are due to be released over a three year period. The games will be presented in full 1080p with sounds taken straight from the original games.
