Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has mentioned the first details on what could be a new iteration of the Nintendo DS or an entirely new handheld device, according to the info it is supposed to have the "ability to read movements".
Speaking in an interview with the Japanese newspaper the Asahi Shimbun, Satoru Iwata said the new device will have "highly details graphics, and it will be necessary to have a sensor with the ability to read the movements of people playing." Sounds like that's a G-Sensor like the iPhone then, but what about the highly detailed graphics? It certainly won't be HD but can we expect Nintendo 64 era?
Details are sketchy at best and no doubt this is something that will be fully revealed at E3 2010. Stay tuned!
