The moment fans have been dreading, but it isn't as bad as it sounds. The PlayStation Network will be getting a new subscription service for more "premium" content sometime in the future.
That's according to this Sony presentation (slide 19 to be exact). As stated on the slide, it's to provide a "new revenue stream from subscription" but online play will still be free for all and will not be part of the premium service.
So what can we expect this to include? That's a good question, free games? We doubt it, no doubt it will include early access to demos and betas but we'll just have to wait and see.
