During a recent Q&A session with Rockstar, the company confirmed that PlayStation 3 users would be seeing the exclusive Agent sometime in 2010, previously the game had not been given a release period.
The confirmation which was briefly mentioned during a Q&A releating to the upcoming GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony download content had this to say:
"We appreciate the enthusiasm of PlayStation 3 owners and believe us, we understand where you're coming from."
"That's why we are working hard on a lineup of PlayStation 3 releases for 2010 that we know you will be very excited to play - including Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, and the PlayStation 3 exclusive AGENT, which is a brand-new title from Rockstar North, the creators of the Grand Theft Auto series."
The game was announced as a PS3 exclusive back at E3 in June this year but had not been given a targeted release period until now.
