Today at GamesCon Sony unveiled the new, slimmer, PlayStation 3 Gaming Console. Featuring 120gb hard drive the console is set to hit stores at the start of September.
With all the buzz going round about the new PlayStation 3, people were questioning whether to call it real or a fake. Today Sony shot down the cries of fake as the console was shown on stage during the Sony press conference during GamesCon.
The PS3 Slim will retail for $300/300 Euro. It's smaller and lighter than the original taking up 32 percent less space and 34 percent less power while packing "all the same features" with a 120GB HDD.
The new version of the PlayStation 3 will hit stores on September 1st in North America and Europe.
